Florida State wanted to show everyone just how successful they were inside the state of Florida in 2015. To do so, they had state championship rings made to commemorate the 'Noles beating Florida, Miami USF and earning a bid to the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl. Yes, the game they lost 38-24 to the Cougars, was still recognized on the ring.

Florida head coach Jim McElwain, who was speaking at SEC Media Days from Hoover, Ala. on Monday, was asked about the rings they made in Tallahassee. Instead of taking a jab at the 'Noles for having them made, McElwain decided to take the high road.
