Ahh, SEC Media Days — the glorious time of year in the dead of summer where we get fan bases fired up two months before the season is even here. All jokes aside, SEC Media Days is glorious, and we officially have our first shot fired, and it's about none other than the Tennessee-Florida rivalry. The rivalry hasn't been very close in recent years — the Gators have the bragging rights of beating Tennessee for the last 11 years straight.

Florida linebacker Jarrad Davis, who was sent with head coach Jim McElwain to represent Florida during Day 1 in Hoover, Ala. on Monday, took a shot at the Vols when he was asked about how the Gators have been able to have the upper hand in the rivalry for multiple years.
Florida will take on Tennessee from Neyland Stadium this year on Sept. 24. The last two games between these teams have been decided by a single point. Don't be surprised if Tennessee uses this for some bulletin board material for the rest of the offseason, folks.
