Mark Richt, Dawgs going all out with support for Vols

If Tennessee was to beat Missouri on Saturday, Georgia would win the SEC East. The Bulldogs' playoff dreams start and end with the help of either Tennessee or Arkansas. Georgia just needs one Missouri loss to represent the East in Atlanta.

That being said, the Bulldogs are openly cheering for the Tennessee Volunteers this weekend. Georgia lucks out this weekend, too. Because of its noon game against Charleston Southern, the team is able to root for the Vols in front of its televisions because that game kicks off at 7:30 p.m.

"I will hopefully be settled in on my lounge chair ready to cheer for the Vols," Richt said on Tuesday. "Whether or not I wear orange is still up in the air."

Richt also called himself a "very big" Vols fan. It must sting a little bit having to cheer for another SEC East opponent.

Senior linebacker Ramik Wilson also said he will be a big Vols fan this weekend.

"I'm fine wearing the red and black," Wilson said. "Tennessee has become a really good team right now, and they're on a roll. Missouri still has to play Arkansas, too, so they've got two tough games."

To really understand how far this team is going with its support in Tennessee, Sterling Bailey is planning on singing along to Rocky Top, the Vols fight song.

''I'll probably just turn on the TV and be singing good ol' Rocky Top,'' Bailey said. ''I don't know all the words but hopefully before then I'll learn them.''

All of Dawg Nation will sing along as well — as long as that means Georgia wins the SEC East. Missouri and Tennessee kicks off at 7:30 p.m. You can watch that game on ESPN.
