On Tuesday, Florida State football's official roster was released, and two members of the football team were not listed on it. Both defensive end Lorenzo Featherston and former five-star defensive end recruit Chris Casher — who moved to tight end in the offseason — were not listed on the official roster. On Friday afternoon, head coach Jimbo Fisher confirmed the status of Casher on the football team. Warchant.com confirmed that Casher is no longer part of the team.

Featherston Featherston fought through injuries for the majority of injuries last season, appearing in just four games. He was reportedly in the process of becoming medically ineligible in April. Casher played in eight games last year, while missing some time due to injury.
