Three-star linebacker Nadarius Fagan (6-foot-2, 200 pounds, Miami, Fla.) has made up his mind. On Sunday, the linebacker who held offers from LSU, Alabama, and Nebraska including several other big-time schools, announced his verbal commitment to Syracuse. According to 247Sports, Fagan just got back from a three-day visit to Baton Rogue.

"It's [Syracuse] a better fit for me academically and athletically," Fagan said.
Fagan added that defensive backs coach Nick Monroe, who recruits south Florida for Syracuse, made the decsion for the linebacker simple.
"Coach Monroe did a great job of recruiting me," Fagan said. "He kept it real with me the whole process. That's what I was looking for. He was honest."
He said Syracuse, Nebraska and USC will get official visits.
Fagan is the 14th verbal commit in the 2017 class for Syracuse.
