Texas A&M offensive line coach Jim Turner and special teams coordinator Jeff Banks have been suspended for two weeks without pay after an offensive presentation at a Texas A&M "Chalk Talk" event designed to educate women on football. Here are some examples of the inappropriate slides from that presentation.

The slides did use some actual football terminology that is used by coaches in practices, but let's be clear: they definitely went out of their way to use these phrases in the most degrading manner possible.

Turner and Banks also came up with a parody of the Aggie War Hymn that wasn't any better than those previous three slides.

The transcription of that parody:

We are Aggie women, we are filled with estrogen. Hullabaloo, canek, canek and back again.

Maroon & white are the colors we love, we are putting down our dish towels and taking off our gloves.

No more Lysol or Cascade, we want to score touchdowns and walk in this parade.

"We are Aggie women & this is our song, come on... bring it on... no more thong. Hullabaloo, canek, canek... and so on.

Apparently they missed the memo that women can be fans and understand football the same way men can.

"There is absolutely no place in our program or our University community for inappropriate conduct or degrading comments towards women, or anyone, regardless of intent," said head coach Kevin Sumlin in a statement.

Sumlin says that he had no knowledge of the presentation heading into the event, and that he was occupied with meeting the event's attendees to see the presentation.

Turner and Banks also released their own joint statement on Friday.

"We want to sincerely apologize to the passionate Aggiefans and to women everywhere for our failed attempt at humor during this week's Aggie Football Chalk Talk and fundraiser. We clearly understand now that our comments and slides were no appropriate or consistent with the values of our football prgram or our Department. We must do better, and we will."

The two assistants will also serve 20 hours of community service in addition to the suspensions.

For Turner, this is not the first time he has found himself in trouble over offensive behavior. Turner was fired by the Miami Dolphins back in 2014 after the Jonathan Martin/Ritchie Incognito bullying controversy, with the Dolphins citing "poor judgement" as the reason for his dismissal.

Hopefully everyone learns something from this situation, because there is no reason we need to see this happen again with any other program.
