According to ESPN, former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow is pursuing a career in professional baseball, and is holding a workout for Major League Teams later in August.

Tebow, a former All-State baseball player in high school, has spent much of the last year training as an outfielder and batter. It's the first time he's trained full-time for baseball since he was in high school in 2005.
"Obviously we support Tim in his pursuit of a baseball career, as we have in all his ventures," said Tebow's football agent, Sexton, who is now working with CAA baseball agent, Brodie Van Wagenen.
"Tim's athletic ability, his work ethic, his leadership and his competitiveness were evident in football and will show in baseball. Knowing Tim's passion and desire, we won't be surprised by anything he accomplishes."
It appears that at least for now, Tebow's NFL dreams are done.
After sparking a playoff run in Denver, and a subsequent shocking upset of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tebow's career fizzled. He'd be the center of the headlines with the New York Jets before finding his way to New England, where he didn't last long. Tebow was a training camp casualty with the Philadephia Eagles last summer, losing a battle with Mark Sanchez.
