But even before that happened, WWE star Brock Lesnar got into a war of words with McGregor that was every bit as funny as it was absurd. Two weeks ago, the UFC featherweight champion lashed out at Lesnar for his failed drug test after his UFC 200 victory over Mark Hunt. Lesnar reportedly tested positive for the estrogen blocker Clomiphene.

"Fair play to Brock, he got in a fight, but at the end of the day, he's juiced up to the f*****g eyeballs...so how can I respect that?" McGregor said in a conference call when asked about Lesnar. "For the most part, those WWE guys are p*****s. They're messed up p*****s if you ask me."
A number of WWE fans took offense to McGregor's statements, but rather than back away, he went a step further on Twitter.
I didn't mean no disrespect to the @wwe fans. What I meant to say was that I'd slap the head off your entire roster. And twice on Sunday's.
