Former NFL player Jeremy Deering has been to three different NFL training camps in his short career and now he's apparently heading for another kind of uniform.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, Deering, 26, was arrested in New York on outstanding warrants from Tampa stemming from felony charges of grand theft and depositing checks with intent to defraud.
He tried to cash fraudulent checks worth a total of nearly $9,000 at two different banks in June. Deering, undrafted in 2014, spent time with the Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots and, most recently, Jacksonville Jaguars, but he has never seen the field in an NFL uniform.
A versatile player at Rutgers, Deering played on both sides of the ball, totaling 578 rushing yards and 415 receiving yards before moving to safety in his final season, finishing with 45 tackles.
