Clemson and Florida State receive nearly all of the attention in the ACC, and rightfully so.

When you're ranked nationally No. 2 and No. 4, respectively, in the preseason, you're supposed to garner the bulk of the attention. Just make sure you sleep with one eye open when it comes to No. 19 ranked Louisville, according to ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit.

Herbstreit's belief that Louisville will be a surprise sleeper team in the ACC has a lot to do with sophomore quarterback Lamar Jackson and the rest of the Cardinals offense.
Herbstreit thinks their Sept. 17 game with Florida State could mirror their 2014 game, where the Seminoles needed a Herculean effort from Jameis Winston to pull off a 42-31 victory.
"It looked like this was going to be their moment, and they just couldn't hold on. I've got a feeling it's going to be another game like that.," he said during a media conference call.
Stewart Mandel of Fox Sports echoed Herbstreit's sentiments, believing their preseason ranking is "too low." Mandel wrote:
"Petrino has recruited much better than anticipated and it shows, especially on offense, where the Cardinals are loaded with young skill players."
He continued to rave about the Cardinals, but more so for Jackson, who he considers a Heisman trophy contender.
Louisville plays Clemson on Oct. 1, just two weeks from their game against Florida State.
