Dana White has reversed course and says Conor McGregor isn't going to have his featherweight title stripped. But he still says the fighter has to make a decision about his next fight.

According to Uproxx, White previously said McGregor needed to defend his title or he would strip the fighter of his championship belt. McGregor called White's bluff during the post-fight press conference after he beat Nate Diaz.
"If they want to do that and want to give my belt to the guy I KO'd in 13 seconds and bury that division on the prelims or the (UFC) Fight Pass stuff, because that's what they're going to do, I mean, we'll see," McGregor said. "How can they do that?"

But White still says that McGregor has a decision to make, and having another fight against Diaz isn't in the cards as of now.
McGregor could move up to lightweight and fight Eddie Alvarez for the belt, or possibly finally give Aldo his long-anticipated rematch.
