Carson Wentz may have had a field day against the team that passed him up in his first NFL draft, but that doesn't make Cleveland head coach Hue Jackson mad.

The Browns made a trade in last year's draft to allow Philadelphia to draft Wentz. The Browns didn't think Wentz was good enough, and Jackson recently said on Pro Football Talk Live that the rookie quarterback wouldn't fit in his offense.
Wentz may not be good enough for the Browns... but he sure was good enough to beat them. He threw for 278 yards and two touchdowns and completely out-showed Browns starter Robert Griffin III (who's not going to be back on the field any time soon after an injury).
The performance didn't make Jackson regret the trade, though, as he told the Cleveland Plain Dealer:
"He had a good game, a great game if you guys want to term it that, and I respect that," Jackson said. "He's a fine young man and they have good coaches and a good organization, and he is going to do well for them, but that was one game. He played well. Like I said, we'll look back and see where he is over a period of time, but the Browns have to get better."
Jackson has a point that Wentz certainly has a long way to go before Cleveland can really regret letting the Eagles take him. But there's no shortage of humor to be found in the fact that he destroyed his would-be team while they lost their short-term quarterback.
Cleveland received another 2017 first round draft pick with Philadelphia as a part of the trade and hope to get their quarterback of the future next spring. Until then, Sunday's loss was likely the first of many for Cleveland.
