Looks like change is finally coming at LSU.

After an ineffective first two games, LSU has finally replaced Brandon Harris at starting quarterback. Purdue transfer Danny Etling will take over for the Tigers' game against Mississippi State on Saturday.
In a vacuum, Etling wasn't too much more effective than Harris in LSU's last game against Jacksonville State. Etling completed only 6-for-14 pass for 100 yards and a pick, but he did score two touchdowns. Overall, the LSU offense just looked better and moved the ball more effectively. That's saying something considering LSU didn't even have Leonard Fournette available last week.

Even if it's just symbolic, this is a change that head coach Les Miles needed to make. The Brandon Harris era has been a near disaster for Miles, and the coach needed to do something. LSU has gone from title contender to middle of the pack in just a couple of weeks, and it has only put more heat on Miles' job.
