WHY IS THIS SO HARD?!?

Texas and Cal were having a slugfest late on Saturday, with Cal attempting to run out the clock while up 50-43. On a third-and-one play, Cal's Vic Enwere appeared to break through and score the game-winning touchdown... until replay revealed the dropped the ball at the one-yard line.

If Texas makes an immediate recovery of the fumble, it should be their ball after replay. The Longhorns do appear to grab the fumble up rather quickly.

However, the refs ruled otherwise, giving Cal the ball back at the one-yard line. They kneeled out the clock to get the 50-43 win.
It's hard to say Texas was screwed here when they put themselves in this situation by giving up 50 points, but it doesn't look like they got a fair shake.

As for Enwere dropping the ball, I have some things to say... WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING? It's not that hard! Keep the ball until you get to the end zone, the goalpost, whatever. Heck, keep the ball forever and raise it like a child; don't care what you do. Just stop dropping easy touchdowns at the one-yard line because you literally couldn't wait one more second to celebrate.
#Pac12AfterDark delivers again... or raises your blood pressure: whichever reaction you had to this.
