Austin Kendall had to be saying "oops" after the Ohio State Buckeyes trampled the Oklahoma Sooners. In case you need a reminder, Kendall is Oklahoma's backup quarterback that, for reasons passing understanding, provided the visiting Buckeyes with bulletin board material by referring to OSU's defense as "basic" and much more.
Before the game even kicked off, people like Cardale Jones and Kirk Herbstreit had blasted Kendall's comments publicly and, well, things did not go well on the field for Oklahoma in a blowout home loss. As you may expect, Ohio State wasn't shy about referencing Kendall's pre-game blunder, and that is especially true of junior defensive end Jalyn Holmes.
As you can see above, Holmes performed some sort of "victory lap" while holding a fan-made sign about Ohio State's "basic" defense, and he took great joy in the festivities. This is pretty much exactly what you would expect from a motivated college football player that just made a point against a trash talker from the other side, but that does not make Holmes' actions any less hilarious.
Austin Kendall will certainly learn from this particular situation, but if he doesn't, perhaps this clip and, moreover, a reminder of the final score should jog his young memory.
