Charlie Strong is firmly on the hot seat at Texas following yet another loss. And while describing the situation involving the head coach, ESPN in-studio host Adnan Virk had a poor choice of words, describing the "noose" getting tighter around Strong.
"It's getting awfully tight, the noose around Charlie Strong right now at Texas," one ESPN in-studio host just said...Wow.

Obviously he didn't mean literally, and he wasn't talking about lynching the man. It just happened to be poor phrasing and Virk has since apologized:
I used a poor choice of words during a discussion about Coach Strong's performance. It was inappropriate and ill-advised. My apologies
