Clemson running back Wayne Gallman was knocked unconscious in the game two weeks ago against N.C. State because of what many thought was a dirty hit by cornerback Dravious Wright. Gallman even admitted to not remembering anything between the time he was knocked out and waking up in the training room.

He tried to lobby head coach Dabo Swinney to get back in the game and was definitely denied that opportunity for the better. Gallman acknowledged Monday he went unconscious after the hit and spent last week in concussion protocol.

Gallman says he will play against Florida State this week in possibly the biggest game of the year for the ACC and for both teams at this point.
"As far as I know, I'm playing Florida State," he said.
The disturbing thing is that the running back is denying that he ever actually had a concussion despite admitting to not remembering anything after he was knocked out. He does expect to be cleared by Thursday for the game in Tallahassee as he has run and gone through non-contact drills over the last week.
