Gators have no offense, still open as huge favorite over surging South Carolina

There are no words for this.

Las Vegas always seems to know more than anyone else actually placing bets there nowadays. Just when you think the spread is too big and you bet against it, the game gets out of hand and Vegas almost always turns out right. That must be the case here for why Florida is so heavily favored against South Carolina next weekend.

RELATED: Florida's offense has officially reached a new low

This is the same Florida who lost 31-10 to Arkansas and could only muster 12 rushing yards against a team that had given over 500 in its previous game. Meanwhile, South Carolina has started to look much better as the season has gone on with freshman quarterback Jake Bentley under center. Bentley is supposed to be a high school senior, but has shown great poise and leadership while leading the team to wins over Tennessee and Missouri the past couple weeks.

Meanwhilie, Florida's quarterback in Luke Del Rio has looked worse and worse each week since returning from his knee injury he suffered in September. The offense has been atrocious and only mustered three points (seven came from a returned interception for a touchdown) against Arkansas on Saturday. The line will surely close as the week goes on, but that is a magical and inexplicable spread for that game.
