After the Packers 31-26 home loss to Indianapolis Sunday, Rogers said they had "uncharacteristically low energy for whatever reason." A couple of big first half plays by the Colts — a 99 yard kickoff return on the opening kickoff and a 7-play, 62 yard drive on their second possession — put Green Bay behind the eight ball to start the game, and they never recovered.
The Packers were outscored 24-10 in the first half and simply ran out of time to make up the deficit. As demoralizing as it may have been to play from behind the entire game, Rogers called the level of enthusiasm unacceptable.

"We've got to be mentally tougher than that," Rodgers continued. "That's just unacceptable. I mean, this is what we get paid to do, is to bring it every week, and I hope the guys would say I bring it every week... I don't know what the lack of juice was. You kind of felt it over the entire sideline. We didn't have the same kind of enthusiasm and encouragement that we had the previous two weeks. So we've got to look deep in the mirror there, because that's just not acceptable."
With the loss, Green Bay drops to 4-4 and third place in the NFC North, when a win would have put them in a tie with Minnesota for first place in the division.
