It's possible for punters to have negative net yards after their punt returns when those returns are factored in. However, kicking an actual ball negative yards is something entirely different. That was the case for Nebraska's Caleb Lightbourn though as he seemed to have a pretty decent kick, but it took a bounce for the absolute worst.

This is something the Cornhuskers will never live down and that's not going to win you the Ray Guy Award for the best punter in the country.
