DeBord is headed to Indiana University to take the same position as offensive coordinator. He is from Muncie, Ind. and has spent time in the pros as well as the college ranks.

Tennessee's offense was incredibly potent under DeBord averaging 36.4 points a game and scored more points this season than in any other over the course of the 120 years Tennessee football has existed. The Vols also averaged 443.7 yards per game, which was 40th in the country.

Former Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich has been suggested as an option to replace DeBord and was thought to be a potential hire even if DeBord had stayed and he could have been co-offensive coordinator. Now Tennessee might have a chance to get really crazy and bring in the guy who was responsible for making Marcus Mariota so phenomenal.
