Auburn continues to retool the defensive coaching staff this offseason, and the latest addition to the staff is former Auburn DB Travaris Robinson. Robinson was Florida's defensive backs coach and has been hired to the same position with the Tigers.

Robinson was part of Muschamp's staff with the Gators from 2011-2014 and will join Muschamp again in Auburn. Robinson is an excellent defensive backs coach — his most recent terrific pupil is Vernon Hargreaves III at Florida — and is also a terrific recruiter.
The Tigers will hope that Robinson and Muschamp can combine to create the same kind of magic they had at Florida. In the time the two spent together at Florida, the Gators ranked 22nd (2014), 7th (2013), 16th (2012), and 6th (2011) in the nation in pass defense.
