During a sitdown with NFL Network, former Denver Broncos running back Terrell Davis was asked what he thought the odds of John Elway bringing the Dallas Cowboys veteran to town were and the future Hall of Famer didn't hesitate, saying there's a "good chance."

While Davis likely has no inside knowledge on the situation, he explained Elway's model since taking over, which can easily be replicated with Romo.
Elway snags veteran quarterbacks (formerly Peyton Manning), compliments them with outstanding receivers and a top-five defense and pushes them over the top.
If Romo can stay healthy (a serious request, we know), he may fill that void. Even if he isn't 100 percent, we saw a version of Manning limp the Broncos to a Super Bowl win.
If anyone can follow that model, it's Romo. Now, it's just about making the money line up for Jerry Jones, Elway and Romo.
Romo could find himself as a prime target for other teams, as noted by NFL Network.
