Brendon Harris is a four-star safety according to 247Sports and recently took an unofficial visit to Florida last weekend. However, it's not the Gators but another team that seems to be making a surge for his services as of late. He took a visit for Junior Day at Tennessee on Saturday and he's been assured that he's a top target for the Vols in the 2018 recruiting cycle.

Harris said he enjoyed "just being able to talk to the coaches in person" during Saturday's visit, and Tennessee coach Butch Jones' staff made it clear he's a high priority for the Vols.
"They kept saying I'm their number-one prospect on the defensive side right now," Harris said. "I like to hear that."
It also didn't hurt that he was told he would have a legitimate shot at playing early and the short commute —- he''s from Chattanooga —- would be perfect for his family to come see him play.
"If I was to come, I might have a chance of playing early. I'll be in-state, so my family could come. And you really have a special thing here at Tennessee."
He also said he's "really impressed with Tennessee" following his visit Saturday for the Vols' first junior day of the year.

While the 6'0.5", 205-pound safety might not be a five-star recruit most people would build a class around, he must have a five-star heart for coach Butch Jones to be taking a look at him as those are the kind of guys he wants in his class. Harris is ranked as the No. 11 safety in the class and No. 4 recruit in the state of Tennessee.
