Myles Garrett is considered to be the most likely candidate to land at the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft and, frankly, the former Texas A&M defensive end looks to be the most tantalizing prospect in this class. However, the quarterback position always intrigues NFL teams to the point where signal-callers often receive a bump on draft boards. There is already plenty of buzz that a quarterback could land atop the heap when the draft arrives.

With that in mind, New Orleans Saints All-Pro quarterback Drew Brees was prompted about a recent meeting he had with former Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson and Brees came away "impressed" with the reigning national champion.
Mike Triplett of ESPN brings word from Brees on Watson:
"I think he's mature beyond his years," Brees said. "He's obviously coming from a really good program. And it seemed like he was asked to do a lot there, be responsible for a lot. And he's also one of those guys who spent a lot of time with certain people this offseason, I know, just preparing himself. So, he's gonna come in ready, more so than most guys."
Watson is a player that many have raved about in advance of the NFL Draft and his collegiate accomplishments are remarkable. In the same breath, he isn't necessarily seen as a dynamic physical presence when compared to other NFL quarterbacks and that, combined with size concerns, could prevent Watson's ascent to the top spot.
If Drew Brees endorses you, though, you are probably doing something right as a quarterback.
