WrestleMania is finally behind us, and that time of year generally signifies a time where WWE tries to shake up the roster. Sometimes that's throw call up NXT or new signees, but in this case, it is in the form of a release.

On Wednesday, WWE announced that they had come to terms on the release of former NXT tag champion Simon Gotch.

Gotch had been in the "Vaudevillians" tag team with Aiden English for several years now, with the peak of the team coming in WWE's developmental NXT brand. The team had floundered on regular WWE television, though, with Gotch reportedly being involved in several backstage altercations.
