Ohio State commit has a guarantee Alabama fans are going to hate

He's confident.

On Feb. 7, 2018, safety Jaiden Woodbey committed to spend his college career in Columbus as a member of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Since that time, the talented four-star safety has thrown shade in the direction of arch rival Michigan and, on Thursday, the 6'1, 209-pound super-athlete was back at it, this time in Alabama's direction.

Woodbey virtually guaranteed on Twitter that Nick Saban's team would lose its 2017 season opener to the Florida State Seminoles.

Aside from traditional rivalry match-ups inside conference play, the season opener between Alabama and Florida State (in Atlanta) might be the most highly anticipated game of the campaign. With that in mind, this comment is sure to make the rounds, especially from a top-flight prospect that has no investment in the outcome in either direction.

This probably is not the best look for Woodbey, even if it is largely a harmless statement. It will be (very) interesting to see if the top-40 national recruit stands by this comment (i.e. deletes it) in the near future. Beyond that, OSU head coach Urban Meyer is almost assuredly going to be asked about this down the line and his response could be must-see television in its own right.
