He should have involved himself with the team more.
“He'd get much better results if he involved himself more in the team collectively” @antrelrolle26 on Cutler #GMFB https://t.co/Ent1reNCzR

Rolle said he thinks Cutler needs a new start, with a team that has multiple weapons. But he also said:
Well, in my opinion, he was little bit more laid back. He wasn't a front runner and neither is Eli Manning, but Eli has a way about himself to lead other guys. Honestly, if Jay involved himself more with the team, more with the receivers ... I think he would get much better results on the field.
He then repeated the, "involved himself with the team" phrase.
Rolle didn't specific what "involve himself with the team" means, and he wasn't pressed to clarify. But it does seem to play into the narrative that Cutler is an aloof teammate who wasn't a strong lockerroom presence.
Rolle, however, seemed to be a bit peeved after reports of his comments surfaced. He posted several tweets that appeared to try to clarify what he said:
One thing about the media is they are going to twist and turn words to sell more papers. All I can do is laugh at this point.

Maybe he should have said all that to begin with.
