Alabama is coming off a pretty great season having made it to the national title game and the Crimson Tide sent a ridiculous number of players to the NFL. That has attracted a lot of top notch recruits this year, but it also means a ton of talent is no longer on the team and ESPN's Mark Schlabach has taken notice in his latest top 25 rankings.

Alabama was the top team in the post-National Signing Day rankings, but that is no longer the case as Schlabach has the Ohio State Buckeyes on top after they broke into the top five last time the rankings were released. In fact, the Crimson Tide have been bumped down to No. 3 behind the Florida State Seminoles. USC and Penn State round out the top five with Oklahoma State, Clemson, Oklahoma, Washington and Auburn finishing the top ten teams.
The Seminoles and Crimson Tide meet up for the first game of the season in 2017 and that will surely shake up the rankings no matter who wins the game. The Buckeyes open their season at Indiana on a Thursday (Aug. 17) so they aren't in too much trouble of losing their top spot unless they prove they really aren't even close to being the team everyone believes them to be.
