Hillsborough County (Fla.) Judge Margaret Taylor made headlines this week after her comments about South Florida coach Charlie Strong following the arrests of two USF football players.

Judge Taylor has now recused herself from the case, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
Taylor issued an order to voluntarily disqualify herself from the case because of a state judicial rule regarding the defendant "fearing he won't get a fair hearing because of 'prejudice or bias of the judge.'"
Taylor said she was "embarrassed and ashamed" to be an alum of South Florida after the arrests, and she questioned whether Strong had control over his players.
Many on Twitter defended Strong after Taylor's comments.
Plenty of coaches likely deserve a public reprimand from a court of law official. Charlie Strong isn't one of them. https://t.co/Gbo5BBoo0A pic.twitter.com/aBoQ7ilD53

Judge Margaret Taylor, you're wrong about @USFFootball's Charlie Strong, and the evidence speaks for itself. My take... pic.twitter.com/8A1lSPEFha

Strong didn't recruit either of the players who were arrested, and he's only been the coach at South Florida for a few months.
Still, Taylor didn't mince words when addressing Strong, and now she won't even preside over the case.
