Former Florida State star kicker Robert Aguayo was thrown to the fire when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers drafted him in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

Aguayo had a less-than-stellar rookie campaign, and it resulted the Bucs having to bring in a veteran this offseason to compete with him.
And it's reportedly not going well early on for the former Seminole:
Aguayo only connected on 71 percent of his kicks in 2016 for the Bucs, and his competition, Nick Folk, was far more accurate and is already making his case to be the Bucs kicker next season.
Aguayo has time to turn things around, but this is certainly a troubling sign early on and definitely something we'll be monitoring as the season gets closer and closer.
