On Wednesday's edition of Undisputed, Bayless went after Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson. Why? Well, Pederson made some comments about Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, and they didn't go over well with Bayless.

During an appearance on The Doomsday Podcast, Pederson said Prescott didn't have to win games for the Cowboys.

"He understood this right away," Pederson said. "He didn't have to win the game for them. He knew that he had a good defense, he had a tremendous offensive line, a great runner. He had some veteran players he could rely on, and he learned that early..."

The comments weren't necessarily intended to be disrespectful, but Bayless, a lifelong Cowboys fan, thought they were. Here's what he said in response:

"These quotes were offensive to me," Bayless said. "Because I don't think Dak Prescott still to this moment gets enough credit for what he pulled off consistently last year."

Bayless also said it was a "backdoor" compliment, and he said Prescott consistently outperformed Eagles rookie Carson Wentz last season.

It was a backhanded compliment in a way, and Prescott was certainly productive as a rookie. But Pederson's comments aren't necessarily wrong.

Dallas did have the best offensive line in the league last season, which aided fellow rookie Ezekiel Elliott in the running game and Prescott in the passing game. Prescott deserves credit for his poise as a rookie, but a good portion of his success can be attributed to his supporting cast.
