Jim Harbaugh has a blistering hot take on Colin Kaepernick, the current unemployed quarterback

Jim Harbaugh has some shocking comments about Colin Kaepernick.

The most successful years of Colin Kaepernick's career occurred when he was under the tutelage of former San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh.

Harbaugh has moved on to coach his alma mater Michigan, and Kaepernick is no longer employed by any team in the league, but Harbaugh still believes in his former quarterback.

During an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show on Monday, Harbaugh said he believes Kaep will "win championships" as a QB in the NFL.

Eisen asked Harbaugh if he believed Kaep was still a starter in the league and Harbaugh was quite confident in his answer.

"I do believe that, yes, Harbaugh said. "He's still in his 20s and has been very successful at the NFL level as a starting quarterback. My record is well-documented that I think he will win championships before his career is finished."

Harbaugh also said Kaepernick is the "ultimate competitor," and he praised his work ethic. He also said Kaep is very honest, and he's never heard him lie to anyone.

The multiple championships claim is a bit far-fetched considering Kaep doesn't even have a job right now, but Harbaugh certainly believes his former QB should be on a roster and should be starting. Kaepernick flourished under Harbaugh, but he hasn't had the same success since the latter left for Michigan. The talent level in San Francisco diminished after Harbaugh left as well so the 49ers' lack of success wasn't necessarily Kaepernick's fault.

With the right coach and the right system, Kaep still has the talent to produce in the NFL.
