"With my hard work and dedication in the classroom, I've graduated within 3 years," said Butler in his statement. "I have decided to spend my last season of eligibility closer to home in front of my mother/family and attend the University of Iowa."
Butler rushed for 1,336 yards and 12 touchdowns last season with Nevada. He could make a very big impact for Iowa, who lost senior LeShun Daniels after this past season. Iowa still has dynamic running back Akram Wadley in the backfield, and the Hawks will be able to pack quite a punch with their running backs next season.
