The No. 2 defensive tackle in the class of 2018 is close to making a decision, as Michael Thompson Jr. took to Twitter to reveal his top five list ahead of his big-time commitment.

Thompson Jr. is a Missouri-native, and that's huge, as 247sports' Crystal Ball predictions gives the Missouri Tigers a 100 percent chance of landing the in-state recruit.
Still, the other four schools who made the final cut all have unbelievable defenses led by some of the best defensive coordinators, perhaps most-notably David Armada at LSU.
Thompson would be a huge get for Barry Odom's Missouri Tigers, with that program needing all the help they can get as they continue to rebuild in Columbia, MS.
