Florida is just taking some body blows this offseason as redshirt senior Marcel Harris will miss the season with a torn Achilles tendon and now a player who was going to benefit from the extra time has decided to transfer. Defensive back Chris Williamson is a junior and has decided that he will transfer out of the program according to Gator Country.

Williamson played in 14 games last season, recording one start against UMass. He's had five tackles in two seasons playing on special teams. With Harris' injury, Williamson had a shot to compete for more time, but with the defensive back class so deep this year —- eight players at the position including those that redshirted last season —- he must not have seen a way into the rotation.
It is unclear where he will transfer to as of this time.
