Former Dallas Cowboy Barry Church hasn't played a snap for his new team, the Jacksonville Jaguars, but the free safety is already talking about the Jaguars and how they compare to the Dallas Cowboys.

Church talked about both rosters and said that he feels the Jaguars not only "work harder" but that this squad also has "a lot more talent" than his old team the Dallas Cowboys.
Talent hasn't been the issue in Dallas in recent years, as general manager David Caldwell has drafted very well — Allen Robinson, Jalen Ramsey, Leonard Fournette, etc. — and the team is oozing with talent just about everywhere, but they haven't been able to put it together.
Church obviously sees something similar, a team stacked with talented young pieces, but they haven't gotten over the hump like his Cowboys teams did.
Church's comparison of the two situations is a thoughtful one, and you can tell he respects both organizations.
Via PFT:
"The culture is pretty much the same [in Jacksonville as in Dallas]," Church said in quotes distributed by the team. "We have a real close group like we did in Dallas. We have a real close group here. We had a real close group, but I was just a little bit younger when I was in Dallas. I feel like we have a lot more talent than we did over there. We just have to keep plugging away and get ready for Week 1."
Only time will tell if Church is right, but the Jaguars have added a lot of talent both through free agency and the draft in recent years, but it just hasn't translated to wins. Maybe this year is different and Church is right.
