"Offensive lineman Maea Teuhema has been granted his release from the LSU football team and will transfer to another school, head coach Ed Orgeron announced Wednesday night."
Here's the previous team-issued presser:
"Offensive lineman Maea Teuhema has been indefinitely suspended from the LSU football team for violation of team rules, head coach Ed Orgeron announced on Wednesday morning."
Teuhema was a five-star prospect out of high school, started 11 games as a true freshman (playing in all 12) and was an All-American. He helped Leonard Fournette to a single-season school rushing record of 1,953 yards.
He had appeared in 24 games and had 21 starts between three positions (right tackle, right guard and left guard) over his tenure at LSU.
Teuhema was the No. 1 ranked OG in the country coming out of high school.
