Four-star running back Ronnie Walker had some pretty nice offers from the likes of Navy, North Carolina, N.C. State, Michigan State and his hometown Virginia. However, he decided to commit to Big Ten cellar dweller Indiana. He told Scout that it ultimately came down to academics for him.

"It really came down to academics," Walker said. "Over the last four years, they've had a 100 percent graduation rate with their players.
"I'm very excited and can't wait to go to college. I can't wait to work as hard as I can so I can get on the field."
The 5-foot-10, 190-pound RB plans to enroll early in January and he plans on competing for a starting spot. His finalists included the Spartans and Cavaliers with UVA being close to his home of Hopewell in the state. He was ranked as the No. 8 running back in the class as well as the top RB in the east and the state according to Scout.
