The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made a well-documented investment in Roberto Aguayo and, needless to say, that did not go well. The organization used a second round draft pick on Aguayo in an effort to essentially lock down the kicker position for years to come but, in the midst of Aguayo's flame-out with the team, the Bucs have real instability at the position.

With that as the backdrop, the Bucs waived another option at kicker on Friday in the form of Zach Hocker.
Hocker emerged from the Arkansas program at the college level and he was a seventh round pick by Washington back in 2014. To be fair, Tampa Bay does have a more established option with veteran Nick Folk penciled in as the team's starter but that isn't exactly the sexiest depth chart in the league, even at this specialist position.
Hocker has bounced around considerably since he was drafted, suiting up for the Dolphins, Saints, Rams and Bengals after leaving Washington. At the same time, this is either a further indictment of Tampa Bay's scouting staff, an endorsement of Folk or a combination of both.
