Mark Richt spent 15 seasons in Athens as the head coach of the Georgia Bulldogs, after which the two parted ways feeling that the program had stagnated under Richt's command.

Richt is now at Miami, while Georgia is off to one of its best starts in recent memory. The Bulldogs are currently 6-0 and rank as the No. 4 team in the country under second-year head coach Kirby Smart.
For Richt, though, there appear to be no hard feelings, as he praised his former team for their amazing start to the season. Via ESPN:
"It's exciting to see that. I'm happy for Georgia. I'm happy for all the kids I recruited and the guys I didn't recruit. Georgia's a great place. It has a special place in the hearts of myself and my wife. I'm all for them having a lot of success."
Of course, Richt's comments don't come without some of his own success. Richt's Miami team is currently 4-0 on the season, and ranks No. 11 in the nation ahead of a matchup with a team Richt knows all to well: Georgia Tech.
Georgia has a matchup coming up this week against Missouri.
