The Scott Frost hype train is revving up, especially as it relates to his old stomping grounds at Nebraska. With that said, Joel Klatt of Fox Sports thinks Nebraska won't be the only big-time college football school giving the former quarterback a long, hard look.

In fact, he thinks Frost is the top coaching candidate on the market right now. If the Huskers don't jump on him, somebody else quickly will, per Klatt.
Here's what he had to say.
"My No. 1 coaching candidate out there is Scott Frost at UCF. Scott Frost has it all.
This guy has played for Bill Walsh, Tom Osborne, Bill Parcells, Bill Belichick, John Gruden and Monte Kiffin. Then he goes into the coaching ranks. Did he start on the offensive side? Nope. He started on the defensive side. Then he comes back to the offensive side. Guess who he coaches under? Chip Kelly.
This guy has it all. I'm telling you, that's why he's having success at UCF. He's seen every different offensive system you can run. He's seen all the great defensive minds out there and that's why he knows what's quality football. He runs a great program. I think the guy is an absolute star."
Frost is currently head coach at UCF, and he has the Knights riding high with a 7-0 record after their 73-33 win over Austin Peay. Currently ranked No. 18 in the nation, every win Scott notches at UCF is another win that will make him appealing to the Nebraskas and Tennessees of the world.
He won a national championship at Nebraska and that's why many people think the Cornhuskers will pull the trigger on bringing him in once the Mike Riley experience is over (and it will be over soon), but Klatt was clear that if the Huskers don't make that move and pay Frost, somebody else will.
"If Nebraska doesn't pay him $5 million this year somebody else will and it might be Tennessee. Scott Frost will be your Nebraska or Tennessee coach next year because he's the best coaching candidate on the market."
Butch Jones won't be long for his position at Tennessee so the Vols are another potential suitor, but no matter where he ends up, Klatt, at the very least, thinks Frost will be a star.
