James made headlines in what was an apparent jab at Phil Jackson, but comments that were perceived as shots at rookie Frank Ntilikina.

And that's what led into Monday's interaction between the Knicks and James. James dunked the ball and refused to move, punking out Ntilikina. The rookie shoved James a few times before Kanter jumped in the middle and the two jawed at each other.
Kanter and James were both handed down technical fouls.
