Here's the move that caused one WWE wrestler to get staples in the middle of a match

WOAH.

Sanity member Alexander Wolfe experienced the dangers of the WarGames match during the main event of Saturday's NXT TakeOver event.

Wolfe delivered a top-rope german suplex on Authors of Pain member Rezar through two side-by-side tables, which resulted in him busting open his own head and needing medical attention.

WWE's medical staff attended to Wolfe immediately and stitched his open wound, while cameras focused on the other competitors.

The NXT tag-team champion finished the match, which resulted in a victory for Undisputed Era after Adam Cole pinned Eric Young.

WWE shared a black-and-white video of Wolfe, along with fellow Sanity members Eric Young and Killian Dain staggering backstage after the match.

Saturday's event marked the first WarGames match since 1998, which saw Team WCW defeat Team nWo Hollywood and nWo Wolfpack.

The event features two rings, side by side underneath one joined steel cage. Dusty Rhodes' invention led to the creation of the Hell in a Cell, and the Elimination Chamber.
