Breiner served under Moorhead at Fordahm when Moorhead was the head coach there. Breiner took over the head coaching spot after Moorhead was hired away by James Franklin at Penn State.
Breiner was 12-10 in his two years as the Fordham head coach. Fordham plays in the FCS Patriot League.
Mississippi State is assembling a new staff after former head coach Dan Mullen was hired away by Florida. Mullen was Florida's offensive coordinator in the Tebow years before taking over at Mississippi State in 2009. Mullen led Mississippi State to perhaps their most success in history with a 69-46 (.600) overall record and bowl eligibility in eight consecutive years.
