Jaguars senior manager of public relations Tad Dickman released a statement regarding the incident, which accused the fans of throwing "plastic cups with ice and liquid, a bag of popcorn and a plastic bottle."
"In accordance with the Jaguars' Fan Code of Conduct, these individuals are being identified and will be contacted, " Dickman wrote. "If they are Jaguars season ticket holders they will immediately have their season ticket member privileges revoked indefinitely. Those purchasing single game tickets will indefinitely lose the option to purchase tickets for future games through the Jaguars and our affiliates. In addition, each will be banned from attending Jaguars games in the future."
The incident followed a melee between Jaguars and Seahawks players during the game's final seconds.
Jacksonville was set to kill the clock with possession and Seattle was unable to secure enough time to get the ball back. That's when all hell broke loose on a wild possession that resulted in Sheldon Richardson getting ejected for throwing a punch.
Quinton Jefferson was also ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct, but managed to jaw at Jaguars fans and even attempted to get into the stands prior to leaving the field.
The Jaguars defeated the Seahawks, 30-24, to improve to 9-4 and control sole possession of first-place in the AFC South.
