Salyer ranks as the No. 1 offensive guard, No. 3 player from the state of Georgia and the No. 10 overall prospect for the 2018 national recruiting cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite. He is the highest rated lineman to ever sign with the Bulldogs, surpassing John Theus in 2012, according to The Red and Black.
Salyer chose the Bulldogs over Clemson, Florida and Alabama, having earned 29 total scholarship offers.
Four-star offensive guard Trey Hill, who ranks as the No. 2 player at the position behind Salyer, also signed with Georgia on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs also signed four-star center Warren Ericson and three-star Owen Condon as additions to their offensive line during the early signing period.
