Dixon, who decommitted from Tennessee in October, ranks as the No. 7 all-purpose back and the No. 293 overall prospect for the 2018 national recruiting cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Here's 247Sports' assessment of the four-star prospect:
"Dixon is a dynamic playmaker who is a threat to score every time he touches the football. He has a great combination of speed and quickness. Dixon shows good patience, has great vision and is very elusive. He is also an effective receiver out of the backfield. Dixon needs to continue to add weight and get stronger, but he has a lot of ability and a very bright future."
The senior chose the Tigers over Oklahoma State and Tennessee, having earned 19 total scholarship offers.
Clemson also signed 14 other total prospects on Wednesday and currently ranks No. 7 overall nationally, which is second among ACC teams, according to the 247Sports Composite Team Ranking.
