At the Graduate Minneapolis hotel, a road was closed as the result of a "public safety situation" in the hotel, which involved police and reportedly a SWAT team to respond.
We know this is a hotel housing NFL staff, as ESPN's Adam Schefter shared that part of the story.
Per KSTP.com, university police have had officers talking with an individual "for some time" as they attempt to get that currently unidentified person to come out of the hotel. From all reports, there appears to be no direct or imminent threat to any other people.
At the time of this writing, this is still a developing story. With that being said, if you are in that area, it is worth noting that university officials have asked students, faculty and staff to stay away from the east portion of the University of Minnesota campus.
While it appears authorities have things under control, relatively speaking, it is best to operate away from that area as a precautionary measure and until proper authorities release a statement confirming everything is back to normal.
