Former four-star and Arizona starting quarterback Brandon Dawkins has made an announcement on his football future that might concern new head coach Kevin Sumlin. Dawkins took to Twitter to make the announcement that he will pursue a graduate transfer in May when he graduates from the school.

Dawkins appeared in seven games this year and threw 732 yards, five touchdowns and four interceptions. However, he lost the starting job to Khalil Tate who proved to be too dynamic and gave the Wildcats a better chance at winning games last season. Dawkins also rushed 69 times for 459 yards and eight touchdowns on the year.
Tate is also only a sophomore so Dawkins wouldn't be able to wait him out and now will get a chance to play elsewhere. Since he is a graduate transfer, Dawkins will be eligible to play immediately wherever he lands and can give that school a good boost should they use him the right way.
